The radial ball bearing features a moderate load-carrying capacity in both radial and axial directions, making it suitable for high-speed and high-accuracy applications. It includes either a rubber seal or a metal shield on one or both sides to protect against dirt and contaminants. When employing two seals or two shields, the bearing is factory lubricated with grease for its entire lifespan. The bearing is available in bore sizes ranging from 10 to 75 mm (6000 to 6300 series) and 10 to 50 mm (6800 & 6900 series), enhancing reliability through an improved design of seals and shields along with appropriate grease. Improved accuracy of components is expected to result in quiet rotation, while lower power loss and stable running torque contribute to cost and energy savings.
