The radial ball bearing is designed to provide moderate load-carrying capacity in both radial and axial directions, making it suitable for high-speed and high-accuracy applications. It features rubber seals or metal shields on one or both sides to prevent dirt and contaminants from entering the bearing. For bearings with 10 to 75 mm bore (6000 to 6300 series) and 10 to 50 mm bore (6800 & 6900 series), the use of two seals or shields allows for grease lubrication throughout the bearing's life at the point of manufacture. This design enhances reliability with newly developed seals and shields along with appropriate grease. Additionally, the improved accuracy of components contributes to quiet rotation, while energy savings and cost reduction are achieved through lower power loss due to stable and low running torque.
