The radial ball bearing features a moderate load-carrying capacity in both radial and axial directions, making it suitable for high-speed and high-accuracy applications. It includes either a rubber seal or a metal shield on one or both sides to prevent dirt and contaminants from entering. Bearings with a bore size ranging from 10 to 75 mm (6000 to 6300 series) and 10 to 50 mm (6800 & 6900 series) have been designed with an improved seal and shield along with suitable grease to enhance reliability. The bearing is lubricated for its life when manufactured, ensuring long-lasting performance. Additionally, the improved accuracy of components allows for quiet rotation, while lower power loss due to low and stable running torque contributes to cost and energy savings.
