Radial ball bearings exhibit moderate load-carrying capacity in both radial and axial directions, making them suitable for high speed and high accuracy applications. These bearings can feature a rubber seal or metal shield on one or both sides to keep out dirt and contaminants. When both seals or shields are utilized, the bearings are lubricated with grease for their entire lifespan at the time of manufacturing. The bearings with a bore size ranging from 10 to 75 mm (6000 to 6300 series) and 10 to 50 mm (6800 & 6900 series) enhance reliability due to the newly designed seals and shields as well as the appropriate grease used. Improved accuracy of components contributes to quiet rotation, while lower power loss from low and stable running torque results in cost and energy savings.
