To operate the Sprung Steel models, simply remove them from their protective carrying case, give them a quick shake, and they automatically pop up, immediately expanding and ready for response to any emergency. Featuring a unique patented design, a foam ring rises with the level of liquid to raise sidewalls. The compact folded size allows for efficient storage inside spill kits, and the handles on the storage bag can also be used to hang on a wall near shipping or receiving docks. These models offer excellent chemical resistance, suitable for diesel fuel, antifreeze, acids, caustics, and corrosives, helping to minimize environmental damage and related clean-up costs. They are ideal for responding to damaged saddle tanks and cross-over lines, HazMat spills, leaking containers, machinery, and piping, with additional applications as a decontamination pool and collection pool for soiled sorbents.
