Outdoor secondary containment storage systems are designed to protect against environmental exposure while ensuring easy access to drums. These all-polyethylene units feature a lockable, weather-resistant design for secure outdoor storage of hazardous materials and wastes. They come equipped with hinged covers that can be opened by one person, making them ideal for satellite waste collection. The drums and collection sump are kept clean and dry, preventing rainwater, debris, and other contaminants from causing issues. Drums are elevated on a deck above the sump area, ensuring they are protected from any spilled or leaked materials. The polyethylene resin includes a UV inhibitor to withstand the degrading effects of sunlight, extending the outdoor service life. Applications include the storage of virgin chemicals, drum dispensing, hazardous waste collection, and storage of spill response materials. This system complies with SPCC, EPA container storage regulation 40 CFR 264.175, and UFC spill containment regulations. Additionally, rugged steel lift brackets allow covers to be temporarily fixed in the open position, enhancing safety and efficiency during waste decanting. The deck grates are removable, facilitating easy cleaning of the sump area. The product comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
