The kit enables safe outdoor storage for multiple drums, with extender kits available to expand capacity beyond 20 drums. Constructed entirely from polyethylene, it offers excellent chemical resistance and will not rust or corrode. The storage unit features separate, lockable compartments with a unique "2-way" entry system for quick access to all four (4) drums. Roll-top covers are designed for easy lifting from waist height to access drum tops, while swing-out doors enhance safety and convenience during loading or unloading. The low-profile containment pallet, measuring 8-3/4" in height, positions drum tops at a safe level for pouring wastes into funnels or using drum pumps. With a rugged capacity of 9,000 lb. uniformly distributed load (UDL) per compartment, it allows for the safe storage of both IBC tanks and drums. The units ship partially unassembled to save on freight costs. The kit meets EPA container storage regulation 40 CFR 264.175 and aids compliance with NPDES, 40 CFR 122.26 (1999), and is regarded as a stormwater management "best management practice" (BMP) product.
