The kit includes a durable Zenex™ black body padlock designed exclusively for lockout/tagout applications, featuring a non-conductive, lightweight construction with a plastic shackle that helps prevent electrocution and arc flashing, as well as electrical current transmission from the shackle to the key. The padlock measures 1-1/2" (3.8cm) wide and 1-3/4" (4.4cm) tall, with a clearance of 1-1/2" (3.8cm). All components are non-sparking and non-magnetic, made from plastic, copper, and brass. The lock complies with OSHA's "one employee, one lock, one key" directive and includes a key retaining feature to ensure that the padlock remains locked. It is equipped with a keyed different 6-pin tumbler cylinder for added security.
