The Master Lock® No. 488 rotating electrical plug lockout device accepts cords with up to 3/4 in (19 mm) diameter and electrical plugs up to 3 in (76 mm) diameter by 6 in (152 mm). The device surrounds the electrical plug to protect against accidental reconnection, featuring a unique, patented rotating design that allows easier installation in confined space applications. The lockout device is constructed from tough, lightweight Zenex™ dielectric thermoplastic bodies that withstand chemicals and perform effectively in extreme conditions. It includes high-visibility permanent safety labels in English, French, and Spanish and is suitable for 240 and 550 volt plugs, accommodating most 110 and many 220-volt plugs. The device’s outward/inward rotation enables easier application and storage. The product comes with warranty information as specified by the manufacturer.
