The safety kit includes features that enhance installation and storage, such as outward/inward rotation, a design that surrounds the valve operating handle to prevent accidental opening, and a unique patented rotating design suitable for confined space applications. Each size is designed to rotate into itself and nest into the next larger size, saving space in safety tool boxes. The center knockout can be removed for rising stem gate valves, allowing multiple workers to apply their personal safety locks. The kit is complete with high-visibility permanent safety labels available in English, French, and Spanish that can be written on to identify the responsible person and erased for reuse. Constructed from tough, lightweight, dielectric Zenex™ thermoplastic, the bodies are resistant to chemicals and perform effectively in extreme conditions with a temperature range of -50°F (-46°C) to 350°F (177°C). The kit accommodates valve handles with diameters of 6" to 10" (15.2cm to 25.4cm).
