The kit includes features designed for effective safety lockout, such as outward/inward rotation for easier installation and storage, a protective design that surrounds the valve operating handle to prevent accidental opening, and a unique patented rotating design that facilitates use in confined space applications. Each lockout size is engineered to rotate into itself and nest into the next larger size, optimizing space in safety toolboxes. The center knockout can be removed for application on rising stem gate valves, allowing multiple workers to apply their personal safety locks simultaneously. The kit comes with high-visibility permanent safety labels in English, French, and Spanish, which can be written on to identify the responsible person and erased for subsequent jobs. Constructed from tough, lightweight, dielectric Zenex™ thermoplastic, the bodies withstand various chemicals and perform effectively in extreme conditions, with a temperature range of -50°F (-46°C) to 350°F (177°C). The rotating gate valve lockout accommodates sizes from 4" to 6-1/2" (10.1cm to 16.5cm).
