The lockout kit features a patented innovative design that eliminates the risk of valve reactivation through the removal of the handle, allowing for secure lockout by simply removing and storing the handle, which covers the valve stem. It offers a universal fit, effectively locking out all valves ranging from 3/8" to 4" (0.9 cm x 10.1 cm) and is compatible with virtually all valve installations, including metal and PVC valves, insulated pipes, and those mounted close to walls or ceilings, as well as valves with tight access due to proximity to other pipes. The kit is easy to use, featuring an intuitive wrapping strap and locking mechanism, and is lightweight and flexible for easy transport, folding down for compact storage in safety toolboxes. It includes write-on erasable labels available in English, French, and Spanish. Constructed from durable PVC polyester fabric and HDPE plastic, the kit is designed to perform effectively in corrosive environments and operates within an extreme temperature range of -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C).
