The kit includes a plastic shackle designed to help prevent electrocution and arc flashing, effectively minimizing the risk of electrical current transfer from the shackle to the key. All components of the padlock are non-sparking and non-magnetic, utilizing materials such as plastic, copper, and brass. The padlock measures 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) in width and 1-3/4" (4.4 cm) in height, featuring a Zenex™ purple body and a plastic shackle with a clearance of 1-1/2" (3.8 cm). It is specifically designed for lockout/tagout applications, showcasing a durable, lightweight, and non-conductive Zenex™ lock body. The product complies with OSHA's "one employee, one lock, one key" directive and includes a key retaining feature to ensure that the padlock is not left unlocked. Additionally, it is equipped with a keyed different, 6-pin tumbler cylinder for enhanced security.
