The kit includes a durable, lightweight Zenex™ lock body with a plastic shackle designed to help prevent electrocution and arc flashing, ensuring safety by preventing electrical current from transferring from the shackle to the key. All components of the padlock are non-sparking and non-magnetic, made from plastic, copper, and brass. The dimensions of the lock are 1-1/2" (3.8cm) wide and 1-3/4" (4.4cm) tall, featuring a Zenex™ red body with a clearance of 1-1/2" (3.8cm). This padlock is designed exclusively for lockout/tagout applications and complies with the OSHA "one employee, one lock, one key" directive. It is key retaining, ensuring that the padlock cannot be left unlocked, and features a keyed different mechanism with a 6-pin tumbler cylinder.
