The kit includes a durable Zenex™ lock body designed exclusively for lockout/tagout applications, featuring a plastic shackle that helps prevent electrocution and arc flashing while also preventing electrical current from shackle to key. All components are non-sparking and non-magnetic, made from plastic, copper, and brass. The padlock dimensions are 1-1/2" (3.8cm) wide and 1-3/4" (4.4cm) tall, with a Zenex™ orange body and a plastic shackle that provides a 1-1/2" (3.8cm) clearance. The lock complies with OSHA's "one employee, one lock, one key" directive and includes a key retaining feature to ensure that the padlock is not left unlocked. It utilizes a keyed different 6-pin tumbler cylinder for enhanced security.
