The kit features a patented 5/32" (4mm) diameter x 15' (4.6m) pull-tight cable that adjusts for a secure fit every time, with options available from 2 to 50 foot (61cm to 15.2m) long. It includes an integrated safety hasp and cable, suitable for multiple circuit breaker panel and side-by-side gate valve lockouts. The tough, flexible multi-stranded steel cable is insulated with a clear plastic coating that is PVC-free. To use, the cable end is fed through the points to be locked out and then back through the lockout body, allowing it to be cinched tight to remove any slack using the patented locking feature. The lockout device has a tough, lightweight Zenex™ thermoplastic body that can withstand chemicals and performs effectively in extreme conditions ranging from -50°F to +300°F (-46°C to 149°C). The kit also includes high-visibility, re-usable, write-on safety labels available in English, French, and Spanish, enabling identification of the responsible person, which can be erased for the next job. The product replaces model 8615.
