The lockout/tagout kit includes a Zenex™ yellow body padlock with a plastic shackle designed to prevent electrocution and arc flashing, effectively blocking electrical current from the shackle to the key. All components of the kit are non-sparking and non-magnetic, constructed from plastic, copper, and brass materials. The padlock measures 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) in width and 1-3/4" (4.4 cm) in height, featuring a plastic shackle that provides a clearance of 1-1/2" (3.8 cm). This kit is specifically designed for lockout/tagout applications and ensures compliance with the OSHA "one employee, one lock, one key" directive. Additionally, it includes a key retaining feature that prevents the padlock from being left unlocked and utilizes a keyed different 6-pin tumbler cylinder for enhanced security.
