The Master Lock® No. 498A Latch Tight™ Portable Red Group Lock Box is designed for secure lockout operations and features a durable powder-coated red finish complemented by an easy-to-grip, ergonomic handle. This portable lock box accommodates up to 12 workers, with the option to include more participants through the use of lockout hasps. It effectively secures each lockout point on equipment with just one designated safety padlock. Keys from the lockout points are captured by placing them inside the lock box, where each authorized employee locks their personal safety padlock onto the box, removing it only upon completion of their work. The exclusive Latch Tight™ feature prevents access to the keys until the last safety padlock is removed, ensuring compliance and safety. Additionally, the box includes a "Lock Out" message in English, Spanish, and French, ensuring clear communication among all workers.
