The Master Lock® No. 487 rotating electrical plug lockout device accepts cords with up to 3/4 inch (19 mm) diameter and electrical plugs up to 2-1/4 inch (57 mm) diameter by 3-1/4 inch (83 mm) in length. The device surrounds the electrical plug and prevents accidental reconnection, featuring a patented rotating design that allows easier installation in confined spaces with outward and inward rotation for application and storage. It has a tough, lightweight Zenex™ dielectric thermoplastic body that withstands chemicals and performs effectively in extreme conditions. The lockout device includes high-visibility permanent safety labels in English, French, and Spanish and is suitable for 120-volt plugs and many 240-volt plugs. The lock is sold separately.
