The safety lockout kit includes a unique design that features outward/inward rotation, facilitating easier installation and storage. It surrounds the valve operating handle to protect against accidental valve opening and incorporates a patented rotating design, allowing for installation in confined space applications. Each size is designed to nest into the next larger size, optimizing space in safety toolboxes. The center knockout can be removed for rising stem gate valves, and multiple workers can apply their personal safety locks for enhanced security. The kit is complete with high-visibility permanent safety labels in English, French, and Spanish, which can be written on to identify the responsible person and easily erased for the next job. The bodies of the lockout devices are constructed from tough, lightweight, dielectric Zenex™ thermoplastic, which withstands chemicals and performs effectively in extreme conditions, with a temperature range of -50°F (-46°C) to 350°F (177°C). This lockout kit fits valve handles with diameters ranging from 8" to 13" (20.3cm to 33cm).
