Nachi metric tapered roller bearings are designed to handle extra load capacities and are capable of taking combinations of heavy radial loads and axial loads in one direction only at low or intermediate speeds. These bearings are typically mounted in pairs, similar to the configuration of single row angular contact ball bearings. Due to their separable nature, cone assemblies and cups can be mounted independently, which offers flexibility in installation.
