The kit includes a dual voltage power supply that operates at 120/240 VAC with a frequency of 50/60 Hz, providing adjustable horsepower settings. It features a barrier terminal strip and a packaged bridge supply (full wave) with 1% speed regulation using armature voltage feedback and 1/2% with tach feedback. The system allows for adjustable minimum speed (0-30% of maximum), adjustable maximum speed (66-110% of base), adjustable IR compensation, and adjustable linear acceleration (0.5-8 seconds). It has an adjustable current limit set to 15 amps, line voltage compensation, and includes a 5K ohm speed potentiometer with leads, knob, and dial. A power on/off switch is provided, alongside a 50:1 speed range and an overload capacity of 150% for one minute. The design incorporates transient voltage protection, voltage following mode or DC tachometer follower capabilities via an ungrounded analog input signal (0-12 VDC), and DC tachometer feedback (6 V at base speed). The inhibit circuit allows for starting and stopping without interrupting AC lines, with options for remote start/stop using the potentiometer circuit or inhibit circuit.
