The carbide tipped jobbers drill is specifically designed for use on cast iron and non-ferrous materials, but not suitable for hardened steel. It features a right hand spiral and right hand cut with a heavy-duty high-speed steel body. The length of each drill varies according to the specific drill diameter, ensuring optimal balance between overall drill rigidity and depth capacity for each size. This drill provides excellent wear resistance and operates at 2 to 2.5 times faster speeds compared to standard high-speed steel, resulting in faster hole creation with improved hole finish.
