The Carbide Tipped Jobbers Drill is designed specifically for use on cast iron and non-ferrous materials, but not on hardened steel. This tool features a right-hand spiral and right-hand cut, with a heavy-duty high-speed steel body. The length of each drill is variable and determined by the specific drill diameter, ensuring the best balance between overall drill rigidity and depth capacity for each diameter. It provides excellent wear resistance, and operates at 2 to 2.5 times faster speeds compared to standard high-speed steel, yielding faster holes with a better hole finish.
