The Little Giant® Magnetic Drive Pump 3-MD-MT-HC is designed for highly corrosive chemicals and solutions, operating at 115V with a capacity of 500 gallons per hour at a 1-foot head. This pump belongs to the MD-HC series, featuring leak-proof, seal-less magnetic drives intended for in-line, non-submersed use. It includes components made from polyphenylene sulfide (e.g. Ryton®), Viton®, carbon, and ceramic materials. The thermally protected, open fan-cooled motor is equipped with ball bearings and is connected by a 6 ft power cord with a 3-prong molded plug (note that the 230V version does not include a plug). The pump has a specific gravity capacity of up to 1.1, an ambient air temperature rating of up to 77°F (25°C), and can handle fluid temperatures up to 200°F. For applications exceeding these parameters, it is recommended to consult your local distributor or the factory regarding higher ambient temperatures, specific gravities, and viscosities.
