The HSM® HSM1823 Securio B32C Cross Cut Shredder offers a shredding speed of 13 feet per minute and features a sleek white and black design. This security level 3 shredder efficiently cuts up to 19 sheets at a time into 3/16" x 1-1/8" cross-cut particles, making it suitable for shredding paper, CDs, DVDs, and paper clips. Key features include continuous operation, a multifunction operating button, a reversing button, and an economic energy management control system (EMCS) that allows for quiet operation at 55 decibels. The shredder is designed with a 12.2" throat width and incorporates an automatic shutdown function, automatic switch-off, and a temporary mode for added convenience. It comes with a removable, reusable waste bag that has a capacity of 21.7 gallons and an inspection window to monitor the filling level, as well as a special CD/DVD waste bag for shredded discs. Compliant with TAA regulations, the shredder is mounted on four casters for easy mobility. The device supports a continuous duty cycle and switches to energy-saving mode two minutes after the last use, turning off completely after one hour of inactivity.
