The ANS series from Edwards comprises high-performance audio notification systems designed to provide voice evacuation capabilities that comply with the emergency voice alarm requirements of NFPA 72 for UL listed fire alarm applications. Each ANS panel, available in 25, 50, or 70 watt models, includes an amplifier, tone generator, digital message repeater (DMR), and supervisory interface, offering robust field-configurable features. The systems are supported by a range of accessory equipment, such as expander panels, zone switchers, and remote microphones, enhancing application flexibility for both new and retrofit installations. Standard features include a clean dead-front construction, a four-minute message capacity, field selectability for either 25 or 70 VRMS speakers, and a 120 VAC power supply and battery charger. The paging microphone can override both message and tone, while ensuring high reliability and low maintenance. Fully supervised and UL listed, the ANS systems facilitate easy installation, operation, and configuration, and also come with built-in alarm and alert signals. They are compatible with Edwards QuickStart and FireShield control panels, providing 24-hour backup with two 12 V, 7 AH batteries.
