The Series 302 heat detectors are specifically engineered for deployment in both standard environments and those that may experience weather challenges, moisture (including internal condensation), and explosive atmospheres. These normally-open devices function by closing an electrical circuit when activated. Each model in the series comes with rate compensation technology. The 302-EPM-135 variant features a fixed temperature rating of 135°F (57.2°C) and is designed as an explosion-proof detector, equipped with a hexagonal grip bushing and 1/2" conduit threads for attachment to threaded hub covers compatible with Series JL fixture fittings produced by Killark Electric Co. or equivalent fixtures. It is crucial to hand-tighten the connection only and is intended for indoor use exclusively. The detectors are designed to be self-restoring, hermetically sealed, and both shock and corrosion resistant, with tamperproof attributes ensuring durability and reliability.
