The Genesis line of signals features a unique low-profile design with an attractive appearance, protruding less than one inch from the wall. It employs FullLight strobe technology, which ensures a smooth light distribution pattern without the spikes and voids characteristic of traditional reflectors, thus providing highly controllable illumination across the entire coverage area. The devices have a low current draw and feature selectable candela output options of 15, 30, 75, and 17, which can be adjusted using a switch located at the bottom of the device. The Genesis chime and strobe are controlled by a single microprocessor, allowing for non-coded (default), temporal, or coded (single-stroke) chime operation, with high and low dB chime output selectable. The devices are designed with no visible mounting screws for a clean look and are self-synchronizing, with optional synchronization modules available to keep strobe flashes from devices on the same circuit synchronized within 7 milliseconds of each other. The chime produces a pleasing mellow tone and pulses at 60 strokes per minute when steady voltage is applied, with the option for field-configuration for temporal output or coded operation when installed with an EG1M signal master module. The Genesis chimes and chime strobes come with textured housings available in neutral white or traditional fire alarm red, making them a versatile option for blending with any decor.
