The Edwards Signaling 302-194 heat detector is a rate compensation device designed for interior vertical surface mounting, suitable for normal environments as well as those exposed to weather, moisture (internal condensation), and explosive atmospheres. This device operates as normally-open, closing an electrical circuit upon activation, and features rate compensation for reliable performance. The 302-194 model is rated for a fixed temperature of 194°F (90°C). It is self-restoring, hermetically sealed, shock and corrosion resistant, and tamperproof, making it an ideal choice for demanding applications.
