The Remote Booster Power Supply is a self-contained 24V DC power supply specifically designed to meet the audible and visual power requirements for fire alarm systems. This booster features all necessary circuits for monitoring and charging batteries, and it effectively controls and supervises four Class B or two Class A notification appliance circuits (NACs), along with monitoring two controlling inputs from external sources. The 7 amp and 6.5 amp models are equipped with four independent 3 amp NACs, two of which can be configured as auxiliary outputs. Users can select configurable signal rates and field-select input-to-output correlations, as the NACs can be set for either four Class B or two Class A circuits. The device includes on-board status LEDs for easy identification of wiring faults and provides ample space for additional Genesis™ interface modules and a battery compartment. Fault conditions detected by the BPS will activate the main panel's NAC. The EBPS notification appliance circuits are easily configurable for one of three signaling rates: 120 SPM, 3-3-3 temporal, or continuous, with the added capability to follow the signaling rate of the main panel's NAC. On-board LED indicators include one for each resident NAC, one for battery supervision, one for ground fault, and one for AC power. The trouble contact comes with a sixteen-second delay when detecting an AC power failure or brownout condition, minimizing the reporting of troubles during brief AC brownouts. NAC configuration options encompass AC power fail delay, sensing input to NAC output correlations, and auxiliary outputs, with NAC 3 and 4 able to be configured as auxiliary outputs, which can be turned on or off after 30 seconds without AC power. Jumpers are available for configuring the BPS for Class A or Class B wiring.
