The Edwards Signaling FX-5R is a conventional fire alarm control panel designed for 5 zones and operates at 120V, presented in red. This fire alarm panel series features the E-FSC502 model, which includes an integrated DACT/dialer, serial annunciator modules, and serial remote relay modules, all microprocessor-controlled. The E-FSC series is suitable for both new and retrofit installations, incorporating features that simplify installation, operation, and maintenance, such as front panel programming, one-person walk testing, and selectable IDC and NAC types. The E-FSC502 supports Class A operation by combining pairs of on-board IDCs or NACs, with the factory configuration set for five Class B IDCs and two NACs. It can be field-configured for various combinations, including two Class A IDCs and one Class A NAC. Additional features include combination waterflow and supervisory IDCs, programmable NACs by zone with options for Genesis, continuous, temporal outputs, or coded signals. The panel offers front panel programming for easy installation and servicing, PC programmability with an optional DACT, and the Genesis option for precision synchronization and audible silence over two wires. On-board relays are included for alarm, supervisory, and trouble signals, with optional programmable serial bus relay modules for common or zone activation as well as a serial bus remote annunciator family. It also supports one-person walk tests (audible or silent), optional city tie and reverse polarity modules, and a trim ring for semi-flush mounting. The panel comes with a fully integrated DACT/dialer option for PC programming.
