The Acid Eater battery acid spill kit, Clift Industries 1006-001, is designed to contain, absorb, and neutralize battery acid spills. Its unique pellet formula absorbs more and requires less clean-up while not creating hazardous dust clouds or leaving harmful residues. The kit includes essential personal protection equipment to safely neutralize and dispose of battery acid spills, complying with OSHA regulation 1910.178(g). Facilities are mandated to have a means to neutralize spilled acid. The kit is fast and easy to use, and its contents are landfill disposable. Included in a 5-gallon pail are 2 gallons of Acid Eater absorber & neutralizer, 2 pairs of safety goggles, 2 pairs of hazmat boot covers, 2 vinyl aprons (8 mil.), 2 pairs of 18 mil. latex gloves, a whisk broom/dust pan, a disposal bag, and an 8 oz. Acid Eater neutralizer & degreaser. The composition consists of acrylic polymer, bentonite, diatomaceous earth, industrial peat moss, montmorillonite, perlite, polypropylene, recycled cellulose, and vermiculite. Clift Industries, Inc. warrants that its products are manufactured in accordance with each product's specification. The obligation and liability under this warranty are limited to the return of any non-conforming product to Clift Industries, Inc. by the purchaser within one (1) year after the date of manufacture. Products for which a warranty claim is made must be returned by transportation prepaid to Clift Industries, Inc.'s factory. The warranty is void if the product is used not in accordance with directions and precautionary statements, or if there are any modifications, additives, adulterations, dilutions, or alterations made by the purchaser.
