The kit is designed for general-purpose deep drilling operations in normal materials, specifically for drilling holes in hard-to-reach or inaccessible areas. It is suitable for use with normal steels, cast iron, and a variety of other ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys, and can be utilized with hand-held manual drills as well as either portable or stationary machines. The drill features a right-hand (clockwise rotation) cutting direction and a standard two-flute design with normal spiral-helical flutes. It comes with straight shanks that correspond to the drill diameter and is available in overall lengths of 6", 10", 12", and 18".
