The Morse® optional Morstop™ tilt-brake is factory installed on the manual tilt model only and features a unique design that automatically stops and holds the drum tilt angle. This simple, compact anti-backdrive device operates smoothly and quietly in both directions, helping to prevent the risk of a heavy unbalanced drum tilting out of control. Without the Morstop™ tilt-brake, operators would have to manually secure the pull-chain or hand crank to stop unwanted drum rotation, which this option effectively eliminates. The Morstop™ tilt-brake is compatible with many models in the Morse drum karriers and can be fitted to any manual tilt product using a Morse style gear block. Each Morstop™ tilt-brake is marked with a silver label for easy identification. To purchase this optional model, the base product must first be acquired, specifically the forklift-karriers (285 series), Kontrol-karriers (185 series), or Hydra-Lift karriers (410 or 400 series). The product is made in the USA and comes with a 2-year warranty.
