The Morse® below-hook drum lifter is designed for 55-gallon (208 liter) steel drums or 85-gallon (322 liter) steel overpacks, with a lifting capacity of 1,000 lb. (454 kg). This drum lift allows for the efficient handling of a closed salvage drum and facilitates the placement of a steel 55-gallon drum into an overpack or salvage drum. Its design features ice-tong-like geometry and broad-faced, narrow-profile grippers that effectively distribute holding force, minimizing pressure on the drum while enabling complete lowering into an overpack. Each unit undergoes factory load testing at 125% of the rated capacity in compliance with the American National Standard ASME B30.20, and a load test certificate is provided with each unit. The drum lifter is manufactured in the USA and comes with a 2-year warranty.
