The Honeywell Flame Amplifier R7848B1006 is designed for use with the 7800 series and R7140 relay modules, offering a flame failure response time of either 0.8 or 3.0 seconds and a flame signal strength range from 0.0 to 5.0 VDC. It plugs into the 7800 relay module through a printed circuit board edge connector that is keyed for proper orientation. The amplifier includes flame signal test jacks to measure the flame signal voltage and features color-coded labels to identify the flame detection type. It incorporates a dynamic self-check amplifier that tests the detectors and all electronic components in the flame detection system, while the 7800 series relay module locks out on safety shutdown in the event of flame detection system failure. The unit is compatible with existing Honeywell flame detectors, which are ordered separately. Warranty information is provided according to Honeywell standards.
