The Honeywell flame amplifier R7847B1072 is designed for use with 7800 series and R7140 relay modules, offering flame failure response times of 0.8 or 3.0 seconds with flame signal strength ranging from 0.0 to 5.0 VDC. It plugs into the 7800 relay module through a printed circuit board edge connector that is keyed for proper orientation. The amplifier includes flame signal test jacks for measuring flame signal voltage and features color-coded labels to identify the flame detection type. It incorporates a dynamic self-check amplifier to test the detectors and all electronic components in the flame detection system. The 7800 series relay module locks out on safety shutdown if there is a flame detection system failure. This amplifier is compatible with existing Honeywell flame detectors, which are ordered separately.
