Under fume hood cabinets provide safe storage of flammables in laboratories and are fully compliant, designed for the safe storage and venting of solvents and flammable liquids. They are ideal for use in laboratories under fume hoods, benches, or counters, and are available in four widths ranging from 24" (610mm) to 48" (1219mm). The single-door cabinets come with either left or right-hinge door closures for easy operation in confined spaces. The back wall vents, equipped with built-in flame arresters, are strategically positioned at the lower left and top right corners to meet jurisdictional requirements for vapor venting. These cabinets feature a durable, chemical-resistant powder paint finish available in two colors: stainless silver or safety yellow. The kickplate measures 4" (102mm) x 3" (77mm) to conform to standard laboratory furniture specifications. Constructed from fully welded, double-wall 18 gauge (1mm) steel with a 1" (38mm) insulating air space, they include a U-Loc™ handle with a double key set or an optional padlock compatibility, along with a stainless steel, 3-point bullet self-latching system. The cabinets also possess a leak-proof 2" (51mm) bottom sump to capture spills, and an adjustable Spillslope™ shelf on 3" (77mm) centers. High-visibility Haz-Alert™ hazard labeling is present at both the top and bottom of the cabinet. The cabinet features manual closing doors, and since some states and municipalities may require self-closing doors, it's advisable to review local ordinances prior to purchasing. These cabinets are backed by a limited warranty of 10 years.
