The Justrite® 28207 Aerovent™ drum vent for 3/4" bung includes a filter and an extra replacement filter, designed to fill and store liquids safely. This drum vent is essential for drums containing flammable liquids, as it provides necessary venting to relieve pressure build-up from heat and prevents vacuum formation during liquid drainage or rapid cooling of the drum. The vent operates safely at 5 PSIG, effectively controlling fugitive emissions. It features a brass body with an activated carbon filter that adsorbs vapors, capturing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and preventing their release into the atmosphere during the exhale cycle. The unit automatically provides pressure and vacuum relief and includes a built-in flame arrester to prevent flashback from external ignition sources. The filter is replaceable when odors indicate it has reached capacity, typically within 90-120 days. This product comes with a limited warranty of 1 year.
