The Justrite® 08540 Brass Control Flow Lab Safety Drum Faucet is designed for horizontal drums and features a self-closing mechanism that incorporates an internal flame arrester, which prevents flashback of fire into the drum. All faucets are gasketed to ensure leakage prevention. Most faucets for NPT bung come with threading in the spout to accommodate a hose extension, enhancing dispensing accuracy and minimizing spills. For the trouble-free dispensing of viscous, non-corrosive flammables such as adhesives, paint, or heavy oils with a viscosity above 2000 SSU (approximately 30W oil), it is recommended to use Justrite's 2" gate valves and/or viscous liquid faucets, although flame arresters are not included with viscous liquid faucets. The product comes with a limited warranty of 1 year.
