Justrite® 08015 cast-iron EL mount fitting for drum vent features a 3/4" end opening and is designed to fill and store liquids safely. It is essential for venting drums containing flammable liquids, as it relieves pressure build-up caused by heat and prevents vacuum formation when liquid is being drained or when the drum is subjected to sudden cooling. This vent provides automatic pressure relief for drums between 3 PSI (20 kPa) and less than 8 PSI (55 kPa), with vacuum relief options available: automatic for horizontally installed vents and manual for vertically installed vents. The vents have been tested to allow one liter (61 cubic inch) of water through a 3/8" (9.5 mm) pipe nipple in less than 6 seconds while preventing the escape of flammable vapor in the closed position. All safety drum vents are equipped with a flame arrester for added protection. This product includes a limited warranty of 1 year and is compatible with Justrite® models 08101 (global model # B875185) and 08005 (global model # B875271).
