The safety storage cabinet is designed for the secure organization of Class III combustibles, specifically paints and inks, featuring a wall mount style with a shallow depth that accommodates over 100 aerosol cans and other small containers, making it suitable for printing, painting, furniture, and automotive operations. It is constructed with double-wall 18-gauge (1 mm) welded steel, providing fire resistance through a 1-1/2" (38 mm) insulating air space, and is finished in tough, chemical-resistant, baked-on, lead-free powder paint. The cabinet includes easy-close, self-latching doors for maximum fire protection and features a three-point stainless steel bullet latch with a double key set for enhanced security. The SpillSlope™ shelves, which adjust on 3" (77 mm) centers, catch incidental drips and ensure containment, while a leak-tight 2" (51 mm) sump is designed to contain spills. Two 2" (51 mm) vents equipped with integral flame arresters enhance safety, and trilingual Haz-Alert™ reflective labeling provides clear warnings. Leveling feet are included to maintain balance on uneven surfaces, and a unique hidden closing mechanism maximizes storage space by automatically closing the doors on self-close styles. Additionally, fusible links hold the doors open and melt at 165°F (74°C) to ensure they close during fire conditions. The cabinet is OSHA and NFPA compliant and is backed by Justrite's ten-year warranty. Please note that some states and municipalities may require self-closing doors on flammable safety cabinets; this model has manual closing doors, and it is recommended to review local ordinances prior to purchase.
