The paint and ink safety storage cabinet provides safe storage for Class III combustibles, featuring multiple adjustable shelves that accommodate a variety of smaller paint cans, aerosols, and inks commonly used in printing, painting, furniture, and automotive operations. This wall mount style cabinet is designed with a shallow depth for organized storage and includes mounting hardware, capable of holding over 100 aerosol cans. Constructed with double-wall 18-gauge (1mm) welded steel and a 1-1/2" (38mm) insulating air space, it ensures fire resistance and is finished with tough, chemical-resistant, baked-on, lead-free powder paint. Key features include easy close, self-latching doors, a three-point stainless steel bullet latch with a double key set for security, and SpillSlope™ shelves that catch incidental drips and adjust on 3" (77mm) centers. The cabinet is equipped with a U-Loc™ padlockable handle, a leak-tight 2" (51mm) sump for spill containment, and two 2" (51mm) vents with integral flame arresters. It also features trilingual Haz-Alert™ reflective labeling and leveling feet for balance on uneven surfaces. The unique hidden closing mechanism maximizes storage space, with doors that automatically close on self-close styles. Fusible links keep the doors open during regular use and melt at 165°F (74°C), causing the doors to close under fire conditions.
