Under fume hood cabinets provide safe storage of flammables in laboratories and are fully compliant, designed for the safe storage and venting of solvents and flammable liquids. These cabinets are ideal for use in laboratories under fume hoods, benches, or counters, and are available in four widths ranging from 24" (610mm) to 48" (1219mm). The single-door cabinets feature either left or right-hinge door closures for easy operation in limited spaces. They include back wall vents with built-in flame arresters, positioned at lower left and top right, to meet jurisdictional requirements for vapor venting. Built with durable, chemical-resistant powder paint, these cabinets are available in stainless silver and safety yellow colors. The kickplate measures 4" (102mm) x 3" (77mm) to fit most laboratory furniture. Constructed from fully welded, double-wall 18 gauge (1mm) steel with a 1" (38mm) insulating air space, they include a U-Loc™ handle with a double key set and an optional padlock acceptance. Features include a stainless steel, 3-point bullet self-latching system, a leak-proof 2" (51mm) bottom sump to capture spills, and a Spillslope™ shelf that is adjustable on 3" (77mm) centers. The cabinets also have highly reflective Haz-Alert™ hazard labeling at the top and bottom. It's important to note that some states and municipalities may require self-closing doors on flammable safety cabinets; this cabinet has manual closing doors, so local ordinances should be reviewed prior to purchasing. The cabinet comes with a limited warranty of 10 years.
