Under fume hood cabinets provide safe storage of flammables in laboratories, and are fully compliant with safety standards for the storage and venting of solvents and flammable liquids. Designed for use under fume hoods, benches, or counters, these cabinets are available in four widths ranging from 24" (610mm) to 48" (1219mm). Single-door options feature left or right-hinge door closures to optimize space. Equipped with back wall vents that have built-in flame arresters positioned at the lower left and top right, these cabinets meet jurisdictional requirements for vapor venting. The cabinets include a limited warranty of 10 years and are finished in a durable, chemical resistant powder paint, available in stainless silver or safety yellow. The kickplate measures 4" (102mm) x 3" (77mm) to conform to most laboratory furniture, and features include fully welded, double-wall 18 gauge (1mm) steel construction with a 1" (38mm) insulating air space. The U-Loc™ handle includes a double key set or accommodates an optional padlock, while the stainless steel, 3-point bullet self-latching system and leak-proof 2" (51mm) bottom sump capture spills. Additionally, the Spillslope™ shelf is adjustable on 3" (77mm) centers, and the cabinets feature highly reflective Haz-Alert™ hazard labeling at the top and bottom.
