The Justrite® 08214 Tip-Over Protection Kit is designed to provide an additional layer of safety against spills and explosions in hazardous environments. The kit includes a safety funnel (model No. 08207) with an integral self-closing ball valve that threads into a 2" drum bung, enhancing its functionality by minimizing vapor emissions and preventing spills in the event of accidental tipping. The manual operation is simple: pour liquid into the funnel, close the cover and latch, then depress the handle to open the ball valve and release the handle to automatically close the valve, effectively sealing the drum. Furthermore, the kit comes with a separate brass vent adapter that fits into the drum bung, offering pressure and vacuum relief to protect against drum rupture or explosion. The dimensions and specifications ensure compatibility with Justrite® funnel models 08207 or 08205. This product includes a limited warranty of 1 year, ensuring reliability and performance in demanding conditions.
