The Velox Guard machine enclosure panel measures 4 feet wide by 5 feet 6 inches high and features a 2 x 2 8-gauge welded steel wire mesh reinforced with in-line folded flutes for rigidity. These panels are designed to be trimmed in the field to accommodate dimensional changes, floor or wall irregularities, custom conveyor or lift systems, and overhead obstructions. They can be attached to 2-1/2 inch square posts at angles other than 90 degrees, allowing flexible guarding shapes for efficient space use. Installation is facilitated by a patented hook design with separate hooks that slip onto posts and lock securely; posts are anchored to the floor with 3/8 inch thick pads. Standard panels accommodate 6 and 8 foot heights, while 7 foot heights are achieved by stacking two panels with special welded connectors. Each panel includes connectors that engage slots in vertical framing line posts. The panels, doors, and posts are coated with one coat of high-quality polyurethane paint—yellow posts and black panels—and all necessary hardware including masonry lag bolts for installation is provided. The kit includes the panel, posts, doors, hardware, and mounting pads, backed by a 1-year limited warranty. Sketches and drawings can be submitted to the manufacturer for assistance in selecting appropriate sizes to configure desired room dimensions.
