The Scilogex D160 homogenizer is designed for rapid homogenization, dispersion, and emulsification of samples ranging from 0.1 to 50 ml of liquid or 1 to 250 ml depending on the generating probe used. It operates with a rotor speed of up to 30,000 RPM, drawing suspended material into the core for efficient processing through narrow slits in the probe, achieving complete homogenization of various tissues in just seconds while generating minimal heat. Key features include its lightweight design for easy one-handed operation, ideal application for mixing, emulsification, shredding, or chopping, and 316L stainless steel generators with PTFE bushings that are autoclavable. The device is compatible with solvents and abrasive substances, offering speed control from 8,000 to 30,000 RPM. It comes with a 1-year limited warranty. Note that this unit consists of the homogenizer drive motor only, with generator probes and stands sold separately.
