These V-shaped spatulas are engineered for handling various powdered and granulated materials, featuring a sturdy point that facilitates the collection of sterile samples during process quality inspections and allows for easy piercing of plastic-lined paper bags or similar packages. The classic V-shape design simplifies the transfer of powdered, flaked, crystalline, or granular media, while the long 14" spatula is specifically designed for dislodging caked or crystallized reagents from the depths of tall bottles or vessels with a neck diameter as small as 18mm (3/4"). Constructed as a single piece from FDA-grade materials, these spatulas are safe for contact with food, drugs, and cosmetics. The Sterileware series includes 9" and 14" options made from high-impact polystyrene, each individually packaged and sterilized via gamma irradiation, lot stamped, and accompanied by a certificate of processing. For non-sterile applications, the 9" spatulas are manufactured from polypropylene.
